Horus in the Egyptian religion, like Mithra [Persian/Aryan?] is seen as the God of Light. The Christian God is also the God of light: I am the light, the way, the truth….. .

Stories from the life of Horus had been circulating for centuries before Jesus birth (circa 4 to 7 BCE). If any copying occurred by the writers of the Egyptian or Christian religions, it was the followers of Jesus who incorporated into his biography the myths and legends of Horus, not vice-versa.  – an extract from the ReligiousTolerance website.

  1. Hey guys

I just ran across your site and wanted to put my 2 cents worth in. I think that Nietsche was a Christian. I feel that he is the most honest of Christians and that all the things he has stated are related to the techings of Christ. I’m not sure if Jesus was an actual living person or an archtype, but the voice of Jesus is without a doubt real to me. I have a big problem with some of the other writings in the new testament(especially Paul), but I trust in all the words spoken by Jesus. Anyway, I’m not sure where you guys are coming from or if you have an agenda but thought you might like this 1 Christain point of view.
